Mother's Day Card

Good morning! I am so excited to be sharing a card with you today that I will be posting on Cricut is close to my heart blog as part of the co-design team. Today’s card is a Mother’s Day card that I have created using the Lucy paper pack from Close To My Heart.

All the cuts are from the Art Philosophy Cartridge. I created a window in the card base using my Gypsy so the sentiment could pop thru and be seen on the front. The banner pieces are stamped with letters from the Urban Alphabet stamp set. The flower is hand cut from one of the beautiful patterned papers in the pack, and popped up on foam tape. All edges are inked with Grey Wool from CTMH. My finishing touches on the front are dew drops on the flower using Liquid Glass, some twine, lace and bling from Michael’s.

On the inside, I created a base for writing my message with CTMH paper, and there is the popped up sentiment! I look forward to sharing more projects with you over at Cricut is close to my heart. Please come by to say hi and see what beautiful projects the design team has posted. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Dotty For You!

Good Morning! I hope everyone is enjoying the week. We sure are having beautiful weather here in Colorado! Well, I finally received my order from CTMH. I have been waiting for this limited time paper pack called Dotty for you. So many beautiful prints! The card I made for you today is made entirely from CTMH papers from this pack. It is a standard A2 size 4.25 x 5.5 base with a matt layer of 4 x 5.25. The only cut is from the AP cartridge. This is the base for the tiles. The black tile layers are 1.25 inch squares and yellow polka dot squares are 1 inch. The stamp set used is a little thank you set from CTMH we received in our consultant kit. I inked a few edges with black ink and the ribbon is actually a dyeable ribbon that can be dyed to match any ink color! I chose to leave it white...this time. I detailed the little bee image with some Liquid Glass and sprinkled some CTMH Prisma Glitter before it dried. It is hard to see here, but I popped up the  "Thanks" sentiment on some foam tape, so it stands out better. I will be entering this project in a CTMH contest. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Pillowbox Gift Holder

Good Morning! Today's post is a pillowbox treat holder that will fit a gift card and a few goodies. Can you guess what kind of gift card will go inside? The pillow box and cute doily were cut using the CTMH AP cartridge and I used a cute paper from DCWV called Nana's Nursery. sized at 7.5. The doily is 3.5.
This super cute frappacino image is from the Cricut cartridge Love You A Latte. The cut is 3 inches using CTMH paper and Desert Sand ink for all the edges and sentiment. I love this paper! It cuts so smoothly. The stamp is from Above Rubies Studio and it is one of my favorite simple sentiments. It just says it all. Thanks for looking, and I hope you have a great day! Project idea inspiration from Edna @ Create With Expression. Thanks Edna!

Mother's Day Card

Good Morning everyone! I wanted to get a jump start on all the Mother's Day cards I will be making for all the Mothers and Aunts in my life, so here is one I made to share with you today.

This card was made using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge. All of these cuts are from this cart. It is so versatile! This is a 5x5 shape card with a scalloped edge. I used papers from the Sonoma paper pack. So pretty! I love using the coordinating colors and inks. I inked all the cut edges with CTMH New England Ivy. The dimensional roses were created with some Crayola clay and they air dry overnight. I embellished them with CTMH Prisma glitter.
Here is a little peek indiside so you can see that the sentiment base is also a scalloped square cut from the cartridge. I designed the card on my Gypsy so I could layer the shapes and get the sizes to fit as I wanted them too. I hope you enjoy!
Don't forget to watch the video below for information on the Dotty For You promtion that starts today, for your chance to get this adorable paper pack for a limeted time only! I will be happy to help you! Feel free to contact me for orders or information. Thanks for looking!

Good Morning! Today I have posted a card for my Brother's birthday I made using papers from Close To My Heart Stella collection. It is A2 size. I love these color combinations and think they are perfect for a guy card. A few of the pieces have been embossed with a Cricut folder and I used an MCT die set for the scallop as well as the stamped sentiments. The small decorative border is from a Fiskars punch and the ribbon was from Michaels. I really enjoyed putting this together. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking. Have a great day!

Happy Tuesday morning! I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter. My family and I sure had fun spending the day together. I created this card for someone who inspires me everyday. Shhh, I have not given it to her yet, but she makes me very proud with her determination and dedication!
I used a card base and layer from CTMH Art Philosophy. This cartridge for the Cricut has so many fabulous cuts! The card and layer is 5 inches. The flower cut from AP is 2 inches. The paper is from the CTMH Roxie pack and the little doily is from the Bohemian collection. I inked all edges with Desert Sand ink pad, also CTMH.  The doily was a little bright in contrast so I actually used a dauber to "dye" it with the Desert sand as well. I lightly misted the card with Glimmer mist (hard to see, sorry) and I slightly distressed the flower and brushed on some Perfect Pearls dust on the edges of it. The sentiment " You Are My...Inspiration(inside) is from a set by Above Rubie's Studio. Thanksfor looking, have a great day!

The second card is a card I created for a little 6 year old who is battling some medical issues and a friend posted that receiving cards makes her happy. My family and I are so blessed that I could not resist passing on the love and well wishes! Images are from Paper Doll Dress up, paper is Recollections, Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and sentiment is MCT Tiny Tag Greetings. Thanks for looking! Have a wonderful day!

Spring Time!!
This card was created to bring back our Spring! We had been enjoying weather in the 70's here in CO until...two days ago we dropped back into the 30's and had snow all day yesterday! Today it looks like we will be warming back up. Whew!
All paper is from Recollections from Michaels, images from CTMH AP, Walk In My Garden, and Paper Doll Dress Up carts, sentiment is from Tiny Tags by MCT. I used Stickels on the butterflies. Hope you like it! Have a great day!

Well here is my first photo posted. I think I have finally figured this out! This is a card design from Sheila at She's A Sassy Lady, from her Gypsy made simple projects. This is a shape card using images from the Cricut Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge and paper from the Stella pack, CTMH. Very simple to put together. Just layering the images on top of one another. The 2 different looks were achieved just by flipping over the pattern paper which is double sided. Thanks for looking! Have a great day!
