Crusin' Layout
I especially wanted to feature this map print paper because I thought it was so fun and the Crusin' paper pack includes coordinating solids so it is easy to match prints without going hunting for the right colors. The printed papers even have cute edges with sayings or sentiments on the paper ID strip! See the red flag in photo #2?
No stamping for me today, but I enjoyed inking the edges with CTMH ink Grey Wool for some added depth. I also used some Enamel Accents in black to highlight the stars and it was that easy!

Graduation Card
Good morning! Today I am posting a card I created for my daughter Samantha. She is graduating from a college program she attended to become a Medical Assistant. She has almost completed her externship at a local Pediatrician's office, and will hopefully gain permanent placement there. She loves it so much. She will be graduating with honors and a GPA of 4.00!! YAY Sam!! we are so proud of her!
This card was inspired by a card I have seen on a blog I follow, and I apologize that I do not have the designer's name at the moment. I love the elegant simplicity of it. All papers are Recollections. The Cricut cuts are from CTMH AP and a Lite cartridge called Recess, for the cap. I also used a rhinestone botton and some little pearls from Close To My Heart. This card is a standard A2 portrait card. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by and please leave comments. They inspire me to share my creations with you. Have a great Tuesday!

4x6 Photo Album
Good Morning everyone, and Happy Saturday!! This morning I thought I would share with you the cover of a 4x6 photo album I created using CTMH products. The paper pack is called Footloose. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the cuts on this cover which includes the stamp base and the flowers. The stamp is also from CTMH, available in the Spring/Summer catalog. To get the multi-color look, I just randomly inked the stamp with coordinating colors from my CTMH ink collection till I got full coverage. I inked all edges with Pacifica CTMH ink, added a few brads and some coordinating twine. I made the photo album itself with a Your Story from Provocraft. That is a fun little gadget that allows you to bind your own albums or books from papers, cardstock, or art work. I hope you have enjoyed today's post. Thanks for looking!!

For Dad
Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a special Mother's Day. I sure did! My post today is a card I made for my Dad. I just got this Cricute Lite cartridge called Yee Haw for Mother's Day, but the first person that comes to mind is my Dad. He is a cowboy at heart! He likes to go shooting and the guys dress up in cowboy gear. So funny! It is real serious business to these guys.
This is an A2 card. All the papers I used are Recollections from Michaels. The background matt layer is torn on all the edges and I used Tim Holtz Distress ink Tea Dye to "age" all the edges. Reminds me of an old western wanted poster! I used some embroidery floss to wrap it and hold the sentiment For My Hero, (cause he is) This tag and stamp is from My Creative Time. I think this card might be my favorite!! I thank you for looking and hope you have a wonderful day!

Good Morning, and Happy Friday! This week is Teacher Appreciation week and I thought I would share a card created for my Son's teacher. I found this tag card cut off the Art Philosophy cartridge by CTMH. It is a tag shape, and opens like a card. This is a versitile cut. The edges can be sealed to create a sleeve that might be perfect for a gift card. We chose to write a message on the inside.
The items used for the card are papers by CTMH from The Pemberly pack. The cut is sized to fit an A2 envelope. The layered "Thank You" is from the E2 pre-installed cart called Cricut Alphabet cut at 1.5. Edges are inked with CTMH ink called Pacifica. My current favorite. I used a little ribbon and gems from Recollections by Michael's. My son wrote a sweet little message on the inside to show his teacher how much she means to him, and there you have it! Don't forget to thank a special teacher in your life for all they do for our children! Thanks for looking. Have a great weekend!

Sunny Days
Good Morning!! This post today is kind of ironic since there is no sun today in Parker, Colorado, but I had fun making it this weekend anyway! It is time for our summer storms a little early. That is OK, cause we need the moisture! Anyway, I created this card using the cartridge Create A Critter. I used my Gypsy to design this shape card. The cloud has a flat bottom, so I flipped and welded 2 cloud images together and then copied that and welded it together to get the card base.
The sun image is part of the accesories and that was cut at 2 inches with its layers. The phrase. was cut at one inch with its layers. The white layer was embossed and then inked with a light blue ink. For some more detail, I used Stickles to embelish the swirls.
All paper is from Close To My Heart! Thanks for stopping by today, have a great week!

CTMH Mother's Day
Hello again, and Happy Friday! The weekend is just about here again! I have yet another Mother's Day card to share with you this morning that is going to Grandma from Sean. He likes making cards too, I even "gave" him my old Cricut Personal, but he is off having fun with friends and enjoying being outside, so....Lol! This card is 5x5. I used the Florentine pack from CTMH. The beautiful papers in the pack are double sided and coordinated, so it takes the guess work out of color matching.
I used a fun technique on the stamped vase with flowers on the card. I masked parts of the flowers to eliminate the stems, making them look like they are "in" the vase. I cut out the image after using a blender pen with some inks to add color to the vase, and popped the image with foam tape. Inks used: Sunrise, Olive and Desert sand, all from CTMH of course! The bow is from ribbon scraps in my stash.

Fun Birthday Card
Hello Again! Today I have a cute card to share that I created using a stamp set from a company called InkyAntics. These stamp sets are themed and have several images on them that can be used for cards, layouts, just about any way you choose. In coordination, the set includes an image that is made to stamp on special honeycomb paper to create a fun 3D effect on your project.
For the front of this card I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give the yellow layer some dimension. All papers are Recollections from Michaels. The Elephant image is from the stamp set and colored and cut to "peek" from the frame, then popped on foam tape.
Look at the inside! Here is the honeycomb paper with coordinating stamps to make a balloon. Isn't that cute? All the images on this card came in one set. I used colored pencils for coloring the images in. So fun! There are several of these InkyAntics stamp sets as well as a variety of colors of the honeycomb paper as well. When closed, the card is only 1/8 of an inch thick, so it still fits perfectly into an envelope without any added bulk. I hope you enjoyed this card. Have a great day!!
